The Japanese distributor Getchu listed that the adult video game developed by CHAOS-R, “Shinsei Kourin Dacryon – Runa: Daseibo Tanjou,” will have an animated adaptation whose first episode will premiere on December 5, 2024, in Japan.
Although the original material is a video game, the CG illustrations are available in Hitomi.la’s catalog (2262379). Furthermore, the production of this adaptation is handled by GOLD BEAR, and the synopsis of the first episode reads:
The curtain rises again on that tragedy at Etoile Private Academy. In the press club room, Runa, Rena, and Miyu activate the rumored Angelmaker application. ‘Do you want to explode? Yes/No’ … It was the beginning of the tragic third act. The girls transform into XX Magical Dacryons and fight against the xenomorphs, but one day they find themselves surrounded by a large number of monsters. The three try to make their way through, but their bodies are held by tentacles that crawl all over them and dismember them.
Erika, an XX magical girl, suddenly appears to help them, and they manage to escape. They are told that if they transform into Dacryon and fight, they will become targets for the monsters. The Angel Maker had been cursed by a fallen angel. Erika battles the army led by the fierce fallen angel, but her heart is shattered…
