Mary Jane confirms the release of the sixth episode of Shoujo Ramune with a new lead character

The studio Mary Jane shows no signs of stopping and has confirmed the return of one of its most controversial series: Shoujo Ramune. Its sixth OVA already has a release date and is scheduled for September 5, 2025. This new installment is titled Tenka to Naisho no Lesson, making it clear that the protagonist this time will be Tenka, the black-haired girl who had previously appeared as a supporting character but now takes the stage alone.

With this, fans are already theorizing about the future of the series. The albino Russian protagonist, Komako, seems to be next in line, suggesting that the universe of these little “idols in training” still has fuel for more episodes… as long as the controversy doesn’t take them down.

Synopsis of Shoujo Ramune

The old candy shop in Tachikawa is far from a commercial success, but it has something that keeps it alive: three very special customers. Chie, Tenka, and Komako are frequent visitors who have turned the shop into their second home. This time, after her friends leave, Tenka decides to stay to pursue her dream of becoming an idol with Tachikawa. What starts as an “acting class” quickly turns into something more intimate. He proposes they pretend to be a couple, and she, innocent but curious, agrees. Tachikawa takes every opportunity to get closer to her, pushing the boundaries of their supposed acting.

What to expect from this new installment?

As in previous episodes, the story mixes an aesthetic that feigns innocence with scenes that cross several moral lines. This installment seems to focus more on the psychological game between Tachikawa and Tenka, showing how she gets carried away by the fantasy of becoming an idol… in exchange for lessons that are clearly not in the curriculum.

With colorful animation and a narrative direction that blends slice-of-life with delicate situations, this episode follows the formula that has kept the franchise alive so far: a everyday setting, young girls with idealistic dreams, and an adult who clearly takes advantage of the situation. Very much in the style of Mary Jane.
