Japanese distributor Getchu listed the trailer frames for the first episode of the animated adaptation of the hentai doujinshi written and illustrated by Date, “Doukyo Suru Neneki (Slime Living Together)”. This first episode has its release scheduled for November 10, 2023 in Japan, while the production is in charge of King Bee and Mary Jane.
Because Media Bank lists this as the “First Episode”, it can be safely concluded that there is more than one episode planned for this adaptation. Moreover, the original doujinshi is available in the nhentai catalog (369570), while the synopsis writes:
- Yuji Fujiwara has been living an unfortunate life. As a child he was blamed for breaking a vase, younger he was fired from his company by a mistake by a peer. Now, at the convenience store where he works, he was blamed by Takamiya, a girl younger than him, for his own mistakes. Fujiwara, sad and depressed, returns home only to be greeted by a strange girl. She is deformed and shows her true identity, a slime that has been living with him for the past three months.
- The creature, who speaks human language and can change his appearance, becomes fond of Yuji, although he is not very fond of the favors of the slime. To attract Yuji’s attention, this way of life transforms into Takamiya, the evil co-worker, and seduces him.
