The Japanese distributor Getchu has listed that the adult video game developed by Midnight Pleasure, “Kunoichi Ryoujokuden Ajisai,” will be adapted into animation with a first episode scheduled for release on July 28th, 2023 in Japan. The production is being handled by Suzuki Mirano, while more than one episode is in production considering that this first release is numbered.
We would translate the title of the first episode, but there are so many terms omitted due to ridiculous censorship laws from distributors that it is now difficult to do so without context of the original term. As we explain, it turns out that it is not as if the term “Rape” is censored as “Ra–,” but rather the word is completely removed as “—.”
Anyway, the CG images from the original video game are available in the catalog of Hitomi.la with the same name as the project, while the synopsis reads:
“We are in a past time when those who lurked in the shadows and carried out espionage and assassination missions, the shinobi, held power. A female ninja, a kunoichi named Ajisai, was investigating a series of mysterious disappearances. She was fine until she infiltrated a mansion, where she was taken prisoner after making a small mistake. ‘Oh no, I have to escape somehow,’ she thought.
