Our protagonist, Yuna, is what you might call a force of nature. She thrives on a very particular kind of attention. She’s a “landmine” bitch, cute, volatile, and with a specific mission: to find a dedicated cameraman for her Instagram. Her usual hunting ground is populated by awkward, socially inept guys who are willing to do her bidding for just a sliver of her time. For Yuna, these interactions are a game. She’s the hunter, and they are the willing, easily-manipulated prey. She’s used to men fawning over her, tripping over themselves to get a shot of her in a cute pose. In her mind, the world is a buffet, and she’s ready to devour another clueless soul.
So, she sets up a meeting, fully expecting another “gross otaku” to show up. She’s mentally prepared for the awkward glances, the stammering, and the desperate pleas for a photo. She’s ready to be worshiped. She waits, her internal monologue already drafting the social media post that will thank her latest victim for the “amazing shots.” She looks up, a practiced smirk on her face, ready to begin her performance.
But the man who walks in is not the awkward fanboy she’d envisioned. He’s handsome. Like, absurdly, annoyingly handsome. He has that effortless charm and confidence that throws her entire game plan out the window. The hunter’s instincts that usually guide her suddenly short-circuit. The power dynamic she’s so carefully constructed is now a shambles. She’s no longer the one in control. He’s not there to be her prey; his presence has suddenly and completely turned the tables.
