It all starts with Takafumi, a hardworking man preparing breakfast while his wife, Makoto, rushes off to work after a quick meal. Makoto seems busy these days, especially helping out her superior, Yasuno. Things take an interesting turn when Takafumi gets summoned to the principal’s office. You see, Takafumi has always dreamt of opening his own shop, and recently, he found the perfect opportunity with the help of an intermediary. To top it off, the school’s principal, Shiraishi, has offered to invest in his venture. In a surprising twist, Takafumi is asked to visit the shop over the weekend to prepare for the grand opening. On a sunny weekend morning, Makoto frets about Takafumi being away for a few days and staying late at school to assist Yasuno-sensei. However, Takafumi manages to reassure Makoto that Yasuno-sensei will manage just fine without their help. Little does Makoto know, a message from Takafumi is about to change everything.
