Lunch break –
As I nod in response to the passing students’ greetings, I make my way to the back of the school with a yakisoba bread in hand. Normally, lunch break is a time that makes me want to jump for joy… Both students and teachers look forward to this time. Just like when I was a student, it’s a brief moment of freedom from work and studying for teachers too. But lately, this fleeting moment has become a source of concern, turning the tables… The reason being,
“Let’s meet at the usual spot during lunch break!”
“What’s up today?”
“Here.”
“Should we go to the back of the school?”
“Okay.”
“Let’s head there for now.”
Three students from my class make their way to the back of the school. Their attendance is low, and they are what you might call troublemakers…
