The mc, Yuji Fujiawara, had a string of bad luck. When he was a kid, he got blamed him for breaking a vase, even though he didn’t. Then he lost his job because a co-worker messed up. At his part-time job, there’s this girl Takamiya, younger than him, always blaming him for other people’s mistakes. When he gets home feeling down, he’s met by a stranger. Turns out, she’s a shape-shifting slime they’ve been living with for three months. It was fateful meeting, started three months ago when, he sees her on the street, she wraps around him, and he’s scared that she’ll devour him, but she’s showing no hostility towards Yuji. They start to living together since then. This slime can talk, change shape, and has grown attached to Yuji. The problem is, he doesn’t feel the same way about the slimy creature.
To get his attention, the slime transforms into Takamiya-san’s appearance, his co-worker, trying to seduce him again. He falls for it, just like he has multiple times since they started living together.
